Club Officer Trainer - VP Public Relations

I scripted and delivered a 2-hour virtual club officer training for the VP of Public Relations - this included going through the existing training and guidance materials and consolidating all the information into one set of slides, with audience participation.

25th Anniversary Event

Working with some of the other members in my club we planned a special event for the 25th anniversary of our Toastmasters club. This included securing a location, marketing, facilitating the fly-in and accommodation of a keynote speaker, goodie bags and catering plans at a local cafe. Agenda design and provision, and meet-and-greet events after at a local restaurant to spend time with the keynote speaker.

I scripted and delivered a remote club officer training through Zoom for rural club officers, which included a custom segment of my design reviewing the Fundamental Focuses of club executives.

I attended the District 96 annual Toastmasters conference in 2018, and delivered a candidacy speech on stage to the audience.

This included reflecting on the cumulative lessons from participating in the NAYLP committee; reflecting on role structure to meet the need, main activities pursued to further the committee goals, cleaning up the committee administratively, reflecting on successes and future prospects and positioning this with the remaining board members.

I wrote, created slides for, and recorded a series of Train-the-Trainer videos for NAYLP to help aspiring session coordinators self-educate on their coordinator resource website.

Club Speech Contest - International

I co-organized an International Speech Contest at the club level for Club Bilingue d'Edmonton. This included securing date/location, filling all official and contestant roles, designing & preparing materials such as agenda, as well as marketing the event.

NAYLP Site Redesign

This project involved taking stock of all assets and designing/enacting a plan for no data loss when I separated the single resource site into 3 separate sites intended for 3 separate audiences. This eliminated access problems we were having among volunteers due to permission confusion with Google Sites.
